The creation of Tell Me A Bedtime Story aimed to bring the comfort of bedtime tales to adults grappling with Alzheimer's disease and dementia. These stories, read aloud, foster a serene, tranquil, and mindful ambiance, preparing individuals for a peaceful bedtime.

Founded in 1995, The James M. Dixon Foundation, Inc. has been serving our communities for over 25 years. Our organization was established to address the growing need for assistance for those facing financial, medical, or social challenges.
We offer a variety of programs and services to meet the needs of our community, including emergency financial assistance, job training, and healthcare services. Our goal is to empower individuals and families to become self-sufficient and thrive.
The Foundation partnered with Paul Vaughn, immediate past President of the 100 Black Men of South Metro Atlanta, to provide lunch and face masks to the staff at Arbor Terrace.

Dr. Lori and Dr. Powe loaded up the trucks to deliver water, Gatorade, snacks, fruit, fresh vegetables and more in Southwest Atlanta, prior to the shelter in place order.
The Foundation retained the skills of South Fulton seamstress Ethelyn to create three-ply face masks, in various hues and designs of purple. We also purchased many more face masks. The Foundation gave away more than 500 masks in Atlanta and Columbus, Georgia.
